Inti García Flores, a Mazatec from Huautla de Jiménez, is a researcher of Mazatec culture, a graduate in History, and a teacher of secondary schools in the region. He is the son of Renato García Dorantes who, during his life, carried out research and publications of the Mazateca. In 2012 he collaborated on a cataloging project to rescue the family archive. He made a critical catalog and digitized the photographic collection for public consultation within the community. He has also participated as a lecturer in the colloquium "Six approaches to the Mazatec region", in the National Museum of Anthropology and History of Mexico City. He currently belongs to the Group of Audiovisual Archivists of Oaxaca and protects the Renato García Dorantes Historical Archive, which preserves the research conducted by his father.

Paula is a resident of LA, born to a Guatemayan mother and Jewish German mother. As a mixed person, she is interested in mediation and building bridges. After seeing Inti and other folks present at the Plantas Sagradas conference in Guadelajara, she reached out to some of the speakers and formed Cosmo Visiones Ancestrales.

Cosmo Visiones Ancestrales is an organization that formed to mediate bridge building between psychedelic researchers, psychedelic consumers, drug policy makers and people who belong to historically marginalized populations such as indigenous peoples, african-descended peoples, refugees, LGBTQ folks, etc.  The goal of the organization is to bring light to the consequences of the globalization of the consumption of psychedelic medicine (some of it is at risk of endangerment due to consumption practices). The goal is also to center indigenous knowledge, and build solidarity between psychedelic consumers and indigenous peoples who are defending their land rights.
